I’ve been in this game a while. And here’s what I know today: in an age of AI copywriting, human intelligence matters more for brands than ever before.
Because telling a brand story isn’t about putting some slick-sounding words together on Chat.
It’s about connecting with people. It’s understanding how and where your brand intersects with your customers. It’s putting the human insight behind those tech-fuelled tactics. And it’s doing the strategic and creative legwork to design content that changes minds – whoever ends up writing, filming or building it.
I have led on copywriting and content strategy for global and local brands, giant organisations, big agencies, and tiny creative businesses.
I’ve worked on experiential, CRM, digital, social, video, thought-leadership, brand strategy, pitches, and pretty much everything else comms-related you can think of.
I was a journalist for over two decades, covering fashion, luxury, the arts and lifestyle.
I’m a subject generalist, and I’m media-agnostic.
